Pam Young biography
Pam Young started working for Chris Kelly in 1978 when he acquired the Wolverhampton transport company she worked for, Cartwright Transport Ltd, which covered International/Eire/UK groupage.
Pam was working in the transport office arranging shipping notes, backloads and booking ferry crossings until she moved over to the bodyshop side of the business which covered HGV repairs and rebuilds. Pam's role was to cost and invoice the job cards based at the company's Colliery Road site in Wolverhampton.
Upon the formation of Keltruck in 1983 Pam moved over to West Bromwich, still working for the bodyshop, and then moved into the Sales Department keeping both new & used vehicle files up-to-date, eventually becoming Sales Administration Manager in the ordering of all new vehicles and following them through to delivery. Pam left Keltruck for a short time returning in 1995 to become PA to Mike Kelly, which included organising the company's golf days and various functions generated through the Sales Department and also picking up on her role of overseeing used sales administration.
This then lead on to becoming PA to Chris Kelly for several years whilst continuing her involvement with used vehicle sales. In May 2009 Pam was promoted to the position of General Manager - New & Used Sales Administration responsible for the day-to-day running of the office and overseeing all vehicle files for both new and used trucks.
Pam lives with her partner Tony, himself a commercial vehicle body builder. Pam's hobbies include holidaying in hot climates, reading and spending time out walking her dogs (a Springer Spaniel and a black Labrador).
